WOMEN’S COLLECTION FALL-WINTER 2017
The faces and personalities of contemporary women are like melodies in a rhapsody where every note comes together in perfect harmony.
Sexy Punk combines skinny lines with romantic ruches. British Glam is underpinned by gold detailing. Urban Bohémienne merges sartorial tailoring with sporty sneakers.
The new Patrizia Pepe collection reinterprets the free-thinking, non-conformist spirit of the Bohème with a contemporary twist, revisiting the traditional foundations of the style with a range of modern, unexpected shapes and finishes. Innovation plays a vital role, with the
latest materials being combined to great effect.
Shirt stripes appear on fluid, feminine fabrics such as viscose, while crêpe de chine is combined with the shine of silk satin.
Masculine patterning adds personality to technical materials like Milano rib, while velvet steals the spotlight when added to lingerie, with both smooth and crushed
The Conversation print features stylised female profiles and is used for garments with
ironic slogans and glittery hearts, while jacquard knitwear and herringbone-effect wool also feature the print.
Further decorative effect is provided by micro-studs in rose gold. The shine of these metallic details lights up eveningwear, with necklaces, chains and luxury accessories featuring heavily on dresses and playsuits.
And when night falls, the punk spirit of black is paired with gold and copper detailing, accessories in blue and burgundy and sensual transparent elements created using lace and georgette.
The colour palette stems features the intense shades of Lapis Blue and Regimental Red, offset by lurex and shades of Lila Sky, while Black & White alternates with Silver Beige. Softness is added thanks to tones of Bianco Lana, Punk Strawberry
and pinkish blends.
The look is completed by the glam-rock vibe of denim, where the custom-made philosophy shines through in finishes and embroidery packed with micro-studs, multicolour sequins and ultra-shiny fringing.
Lurex adds character to Luxury Denim, while the brand-new “Super Wow Jeans” merge
image and performance in elegant, simple shaping, showing off the curves of the body
with figure-hugging fits and innovative finishes.
Finally, real and synthetic leather have been treated using hyper-sophisticated techniques
which maintain the brand’s iconic colours and shaping, with velour sheepskin and Mongolian gilets among the stand-out pieces. Cloth is paired with faux fur, while shearling is finished with merino and calfhair effects. Sophisticated, deconstructed volumes feature, but stop short of compromising on the slim-fit wearability so synonymous with Patrizia Pepe.
The collection’s jackets, unique and exclusive as they are, feature crests made from feathers, diamond-encrusted heraldic buttons, gold-speckled lace and handmade embroidery dotted with jewels and beads.
